Freeze Away Excess Body Fat With CoolSculpting

The battle to banish body fat has proven to be an endless struggle for many people. That’s because solutions like intense exercise, limiting sugar intake, and drinking more water don’t work for some individuals. Instead, those fixes, although optimum for good health, do little to tackle stubborn pockets of fat that don’t respond to diet changes and rigorous daily exercise.

If you’re frustrated by stubborn flab and searching for a way to a trimmer physique, read on.

CoolSculpting ®, which specifically targets the fat cells beneath the surface of your skin, is a treatment hailed by many as an effective and safe solution to a new you. It works by targeting and attacking those well-known problem areas of stubborn fat: the midsection, upper thighs, upper back, armpit region, and chin.

Here at Elite Dermatology, Dr. Connie Wang and her skilled team of specialists can introduce you to this popular, noninvasive procedure. The results are proven, long-lasting, and will help you feel more confident in your body.

With just one treatment, you’ll see why CoolSculpting is known as a safe and effective procedure associated with high patient satisfaction.

What is CoolSculpting?

Have you ever heard of cryolipolysis? If so, you’ve heard of CoolSculpting. It’s a technique based on the discovery that cold temperatures can be used to destroy your fat cells. Best of all, the treatment won’t harm your surrounding skin or muscle tissue.

The truth is, CoolSculpting represents a way to meet the demand for fat-reduction services that don’t require surgery. However, it is not a weight loss procedure, because it doesn’t actually shed excess weight. What it does do is target problem areas without resorting to invasive procedures.

Our team will make a full assessment to find out if you’re a candidate for CoolSculpting, and they’ll talk with you about the best way to obtain optimal results.

A breakdown of the CoolSculpting procedure

During the procedure, a member of our Elite Dermatology team places the CoolSculpting handpiece on the treatment area. Once we turn on the machines, you’ll experience a few minutes of intense cold and a pulling sensation due to suction. About 5-10 minutes into the treatment, the area will be completely numb.

If you’re worried about pain, don’t be. Many of our patients actually do things like read, watch television, listen to music, or even nap during a CoolSculpting treatment.

Fat cells that are frozen during the CoolSculpting procedure will ultimately die off and leave the body through natural elimination, eventually leaving treated areas more sculpted.

A CoolSculpting procedure may last anywhere from 35-60 minutes, depending on the size or number of areas that we’re treating. Once finished, you can leave our office and resume your normal activities. Side effects are generally limited to temporary redness, bruising, soreness, and numbness.

Will I see results immediately?

When our patients come in for a CoolSculpting consultation, many of them voice concerns about whether they’ll see instant results. Here at Elite Dermatology, we stress the “before” and “after” versions of treatment, as the effects are visible over a period of weeks and not days.

Like some patients, you may start to see a visible reduction of fat in treated areas about three weeks after treatment. You’ll likely experience your most noticeable results about two months after treatment. Why? It’s because your body had the time to process and eliminate the frozen fat cells.

CoolSculpting results will continue to improve up to four to six months after treatment. As leading dermatology experts, our team at Elite Dermatology provides the latest in aesthetic treatments. We proudly serve those in and around the Katy, Kingwood and Tomball, Texas areas. Contact us today to learn why so many are confident in the safety and effectiveness of CoolSculpting.
