Dr. Sarah Kesaria is a Houston native, dermatologist, and proud dog mom who is passionate about providing compassionate, personalized care to every patient she meets. She believes in taking a holistic approach to dermatology, focusing not only on treating skin conditions but also on helping patients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
Dr. Kesaria attended Clements High School, where she developed a lifelong appreciation for art and creativity, earning recognition at both the regional and national levels. She went on to attend Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she served as an editor for the Emory Undergraduate Medical Review Board, as well as a research and teaching assistant. She graduated early with honors.
She returned to Texas to earn her Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston. During medical school, Dr. Kesaria remained deeply involved in community service through a student-led free clinic, volunteering at monthly after-hours dermatology clinics for underserved patients. Her academic and research
accomplishments earned her numerous honors, including presentations at the Texas Dermatological Society, the Osler Medallion Award for Medical Humanities, and the Edgar B. Smith Endowed Scholarship in Dermatology.
Dr. Kesaria completed both her Internal Medicine internship and Dermatology residency at UTMB, where she served as Chief Resident. Throughout her training, she developed expertise in medical dermatology, cosmetic procedures, and surgical dermatology while cultivating a patient-centered philosophy grounded in empathy, education, and trust. She is dedicated to understanding each patient’s individual concerns and creating thoughtful, effective treatment plans tailored to their goals.
Dr. Kesaria is excited to build meaningful relationships with her patients and bring a warm, approachable perspective to dermatologic care. Her mission is to help every individual achieve healthy skin and renewed confidence.
Outside of dermatology, Dr. Kesaria enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and their dog Raja, cooking, baking, creating art, and crafting the perfect matcha latte.
