Adam Nguyen, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. A Texas native, Dr. Nguyen grew up in The Woodlands, where he graduated as Valedictorian of The Academy of Science and Technology at College Park High School. He earned his Biology degree with University High Honors from The University of Texas at Austin. He then received his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where he was awarded a scholarship in Dermatology.
Dr. Nguyen completed his Dermatology Residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch, where he served as Chief Resident. During residency, he received multiple honors for excellence in teaching, including the UTMB Resident Dermatology Teaching Award and the William S. Thayer Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Following residency, Dr. Nguyen has focused his practice on medical dermatology, skin cancer detection and treatment, and dermatologic surgery, with an interest in cosmetic dermatology.
He values building long-term relationships with patients through trust, communication, and patient education. His approachable style and attention to detail have earned him a strong reputation in the community.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Nguyen is actively involved in the American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Dermatological Society, Houston Dermatological Society, and Vietnamese American Medical Association.
Outside of dermatology, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, fitness, and relaxing with his dog, Stella.
