Christina Kwon, MD, FAAD, serves patients at the Fulshear, Texas location as a board-certified dermatologist at Elite Dermatology. She offers medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatological services for both adult and pediatric patients.
She graduated cum laude from Harvard College with a concentration in Human Developmental Regenerative Biology and a secondary in Classical Civilizations. During her time at Harvard, she was a John Harvard Scholar, which is awarded to undergraduate students in the top 5% of their respective classes. She went on to receive her Medical Doctorate from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. During her time at Hopkins, she was a recipient of the prestigious William Walker Award for Psychiatric Research and published a number of peer-reviewed articles within dermatology. She completed her dermatology residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Kwon continues to stay active in the dermatological community as a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Texas Medical Association. She believes that remaining a curious learner and scholar is an integral component of medicine; she strives to provide patients the most advanced and evidence-based treatments. Dr. Kwon enjoys meeting patients and getting to know them as individuals. She understands the impact that dermatological conditions can have on patients’ lives and she enjoys working together with her patients to create individualized treatment plans.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring new restaurants with her husband and their black miniature poodle, Soju. She enjoys practicing yoga, listening to podcasts, and spending quality time with her friends and family. In addition to English, she also speaks conversational Korean.
