Dr. Mansha Sethi, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist at Elite Dermatology serving both adult and pediatric patients at the practice's Kingwood, TX and River Oaks, TX office. She offers medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, including Botox for antiaging and excessive sweating, Dysport, fillers, PRP injections for hair loss, and much more.
Dr. Sethi grew up in northeast Pennsylvania, and was elected the president of the National Honor Society during her senior year of high school. She was one of only two students in a class of over 350 to earn admission at an Ivy League institution and graduated in the top 5 in her class. She attended Cornell University in upstate New York for her Bachelor of Science and earned a spot on the esteemed Dean’s List each semester for her exemplary academic record. During her sophomore year, she was inducted into Kappa Omicron Nu National Honor Society, an honor awarded to the top 10% of the class, and served on its leadership board.
She then moved to Philadelphia to complete the next eight years of her training. Philly holds a special place in her heart because that’s also where she met her husband and went on their first date. She received her medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. As a medical student, she was selected to present her research at both local and national conferences; Philadelphia Dermatological Society and the annual American Academy of Dermatology meeting, respectively.
Dr. Sethi completed a year of internal medicine at Abington-Jefferson Hospital and dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University. She was the designated resident liaison for the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and selected to attend the Annual Cosmetic Symposium through the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery amongst a vast pool of national applicants.
Post residency, Dr. Sethi joined an academic center just outside of Philly where she has led multiple teaching sessions to train dermatology residents. She currently heads their cosmetic department offering both injectables – Botox, fillers, plasma injections – and laser treatments for acne, rosacea, sun spots, and scars, among others. She is a current member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
Dr. Sethi is excited to start the next chapter in her life in Houston and explore life in the south. Outside of work, Dr. Sethi enjoys bike riding, trying new restaurants, traveling to coastal regions, and watching The Office re-runs.
She is trained to treat a wide range of skin issues ranging from skin cancer diagnosis and treatment to rashes, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and a variety of pathology found in skin of color. She loves discussing all things skincare and tailoring her treatment to each patient based on their skin’s needs. She works hard to stay up-to-date with the current medical literature and evidence-based treatments.
