Rachel is a physician assistant at Elite Dermatology, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. She received her master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth where she graduated with honors. Prior to attending PA school, Rachel graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. During her attendance, she competed as a Division I collegiate track and field athlete. As a 400-meter sprinter, she competed in nationwide meets and placed at the SEC Championships.
Although born in San Antonio, Rachel grew up living in multiple cities around the country including Missouri, Ohio and Michigan. She even spent time living abroad in Melbourne, Australia. She now considers Houston her home where she graduated from The Woodlands High School.
Rachel has extensive knowledge and experience in general, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. She has received specialized training and is licensed and qualified to perform comprehensive dermatologic care to patients of all ages. Rachel has also been involved in clinical research trials for the evaluation of investigational medications for various skin conditions including psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. She regularly pursues continuing medical education training to further her knowledge and stay current on the latest dermatological advances. Rachel is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
