About Rohan Joshi, MD

Rohan Joshi, MD, is a Board- Certified Otolaryngologist and pending American Board of Facial Plastics and he is excited to be serving patients at the Elite Dermatology Fulshear and River Oaks locations beginning this August! His primary surgical interests are in performing Face and Neck Lifts, Blepharoplasty, Browlifts, and Rhinoplasty.

Dr. Joshi was born and raised in Yorktown Heights, NY in Westchester County (the county just above New York City). He attended college at Princeton University, where he majored in History, and medical school at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Passionate about surgeries of the Face and Neck, he completed a residency in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery at New-York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia and Cornell. He then performed his first fellowship in Head and Neck Cancer at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. It was then that Dr. Joshi made his way down south to Galveston, Texas, where was recruited to UTMB as a Head and Neck microvascular surgeon. He served on faculty for 3 years, performing complex Head and Neck reconstructions, before he decided that his true passion rested in facial aesthetics. He pursued a second fellowship in Facial Plastic surgery at the University of Toronto, training under renowned plastic surgeon Jamil Asaria. He is one of handful of surgeons in the country that has performed a fellowship in both Head and Neck Cancer and Facial Plastic Surgery.

Regarding his treatment philosophy, Dr. Joshi prefers to work with patients to better understand what they are trying to achieve, rather than forcing a “one-size fits all” plan on them. Additionally, he believes that we shouldn’t be trying to set back the clock on aging altogether. “I do not approach patients thinking I am going to turn a 60-year-old into a 20-yearold. Rather, I want to help patients age in a more elegant, refined way.”

In his spare time, Dr. Joshi loves to play sports, go running (he is currently training for his next half-marathon), ski, make and drink (mostly drink) delicious coffee and espresso, and spend time with his girlfriend and their two Labrador retrievers, Duck Duck and Goose.
